NMIMS History
The MBA program at NMIMS is designed to satisfy the various and unique demands of managers. Since its inception, NMIMS has given individuals a wide choice of programs, formats, and learning opportunities. It offers a dynamic curriculum that provides opportunities to master the much need skills to develop into a new generation manager. NMIMS has an outstanding infrastructure for classroom learning, extra-curricular activities, and recreational activities. SBM NMIMS Mumbai offers both full-time and part-time management programs. It also offers specialised and doctoral level programs. NMIMS MBA intake is dependent on the program and the chosen campus. Interested applicants are required to register for NMAT, qualifying entrance exam conducted by NMIMS in collaboration with GMAC.

Selection Process
Stage 1: NMAT by GMAC™ test is a mandatory test for applying to the following NMIMS University programmes viz
- MBA - Mumbai / Bengaluru / Jadcherla (Hyderabad) / Navi Mumbai / Indore
- MBA HR Mumbai
- MBA Business Analytics Mumbai
- MBA (Digital Transformation) Mumbai
- MBA Pharmaceutical Management Mumbai
The score of the NMAT by GMAC™ Test for all the NMIMS applicants will be submitted by GMAC electronically to NMIMS (Deemed to-be- University).
Stage 2: Shortlisting based on NMAT sectional and total score will be done. The call letter will be declared on the candidate’s dashboard.
The Second stage of MBA Selection process will be conducted offline at NMIMS Mumbai Campus only. It will include a computer-based Written Analytical Test (WAT), WATSON GLASER Test, and Personal Interview (PI).
Candidates will be given weightage to their academic performance and work experience.
- The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the application data in terms of academic marks obtained, work experience, marks obtained in NMAT by GMAC™ and marks obtained in the second stage of the selection process.
- The selection criteria will be based on merit only. Decision regarding cut-off of the merit list will solely lie with NMIMS Authorities. Those candidates who have applied for more than one Programme / Campus in their application forms, their selection will be based on the merit score and preferences obtained by them as well as on the availability of the seats in the respective Programme
