MAT Application 2021

MAT Registration 2021 For Aug- Sept Session is ongoing for IBT Mode. As per AIMA, the last date to apply for IBT is 31 Aug 2021 for MAT CBT is 04 Sep 2021. AIMA has opened the MAT Registration 2021 for PBT, CBT & IBT Mode. The MAT Exam IBT Mode 2021 Schedule is also out. Candidates who wish to apply for MAT Exam 2021 (August- September Session) must note all the latest MAT Registration Dates 2021 and other details regarding MAT Exam form 2021. =

The MAT examination happens four times a year: February, May, September and December. The MAT September 2021 registration is ongoing for CBT Mode and IBT Mode. Candidates who are interested and eligible may apply online on the official website. Note all the important details about the MAT Apply online below.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level examination conducted by All India Management Institution (AIMA) since 1988 to help to participate Business Schools (B-Schools) in screening the candidates for admission process to MBA and other allied programmes. HRD Ministry of the Indian Government approved MAT as a country-level test in 2003.

MAT 2021 will be conducted in three different modes

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
  2. Paper-Based Test (PBT)
  3. Remote Proctored Internet-Based Test (IBT)

Steps to Register for MAT 2021

  • Step 1: Fill the basic and primary details like: Name, DoB, E-Mail, Mobile Number, State of Domicile and create a Login Password

  • Step 2: After successful registration, click on the Login tab and use your E-Mail, Password and Dob to Login
  • Step 3: Select the mode of examination, test city choice, payment mode and process the payment by clicking on the “Save & Next” button
  • Step 4: Upload the scanned photograph and signature as the details mentioned above
  • Step 5: Fill in your personal details, your educational qualifications, and your choices of Management Institutes (MI). You can as many MIs as you want with an additional fee of Rs. 118/- per MI
  • Step 6: After successful submission, view your application form and take a printout of the same for record-keeping purpose

  • Image of scanned photograph in jpg/jpeg format. (File size between 10KB and 50KB)
  • Image of scanned signature in jpg/jpeg format. (File size between 10KB and 20KB)
  • Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Wallet/UPI details
  • Educational Qualification details
  • Personal Details asked while filling the form

  • For MAT IBT Fees is ₹1650/-
  • For MAT PBT Fees is ₹1650/-
  • Mode of Payment - Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card), Net Banking, UPI and Paytm wallet

  • The reporting time for MAT Exam will be mentioned on the MAT admit card and candidates are advised to strictly stick to the reporting window mentioned in the admit card.

  • You are supposed to carry the following to the MAT Test Centre

    • Self-Declaration in the format made available to all the candidates with the admit card
    • Hard-copy of your admit card
    • Any valid original Photo-ID (Voter ID/Aadhaar Card/Driving License/PAN Card/Passport/Photo ID issued by any Govt. Dept./Photo ID issued by any of the recognized Educational Institution)
    • For PwD candidates, apart from the above-mentioned documents, they should carry the copy of disability certificate issued by the competent authority
  • Yes, apart from the above-mentioned documents, you should have:

    • your own face mask
    • your own hand sanitiser in a transparent bottle
    • an adequate amount of water in a transparent water bottle
    • Blue/Black ballpoint pen
  • You are advised to see a doctor immediately and you must not come to the test centre. As at the entrance, your body temperature screening will be done and will not be allowed to go inside the test centre

  • Yes, the test centre will be sanitized properly just before the test is supposed to commence
