MAT Eligibility Criteria 2021

MAT Eligibility 2021 is set and prescribed by AIMA. Candidates who are interested in the MAT Exam must check the eligibility before applying online. It is crucial that you abide by the eligibility criteria to avoid later stage disqualification. Check the MAT eligibility criteria such as age limit, educational qualification, work experience, and attempts. MAT 2021 registration is ongoing. 

The special division of the All India Management Association (AIMA) called Center for Management Services (CMS) conducts Management Aptitude Test (MAT). The MAT exam is the entrance test for more than 600 business schools and MBA admissions. The exam is conducted four times a year. The exam is held in February, May, September, and December. 

Candidates must note that they can attempt the exam in online and offline modes. There are three modes for MAT Exam, IBT, PBT & CBT.  The offline exam is conducted on a single day whereas candidates can select an online exam date and time.

MAT Education Qualification 2021

The Association has prescribed the minimum educational qualification for the MAT exam is graduation from the posts. Check the MAT 2021 Educational Qualification:

  • The minimum educational qualification for appearing in the MAT examination is graduation. Candidates must have a graduate degree in commerce, arts, or science subjects.
  • Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation are eligible to apply for the exam. Candidates need to submit the completion certificate at the time of admission.
  • The candidate who had a professional degree such as CS, CA, and ICWA are also eligible for the exam.

MAT Age Limit 2021

The AIMA has not notified any age limit for the MAT exam that a candidate has to think about before applying for the exam.

MAT Number of Attempts

The Association has not specified the number of attempts for the MAT exam. Candidates can appear for the exam at any number of times till they get favorable results.

MAT Working Experience

There are no extra points for candidates having work experience in any field. Everyone will be treated equally. You will be treated based on your score in MAT whether you have work experience or a fresher.

MAT Reservation Criteria

The All India Management Association has fixed the minimum percentage for the various categories by the central government rules.

  • The various business colleges have different eligibility criteria.
