IITTM Admission 2021

IITTM is an acronym for the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management. To qualify for the MBA in tourism program at IITTM, applicants must pass an entrance test administered by the college.

MBA in Travel and Tourism:

The CAT/ MAT/ IIAT/ ATMA test results are used to determine admission to IITTM's MBA program. A valid GMAT score is required for international students. The results of the national entrance test are used to determine admission to other IITTM programs.

Eligibility Criteria for IITTM Admission:

  • CAT for Indian students and GMAT and GRE for international students
  • Bachelor's degree from any discipline (Minimum 50% aggregate)
  • Work experience is preferred but not mandatory. 

BBA in Travel and Tourism:

The IIAT test results are used to determine admission to IITTM's BBA program. The results of the national entrance test are used to determine admission to other IITTM programs

  • A cut-off score is announced, and students who pass the exam are invited to the second round of admissions.

IITTM Admission Application Form 2021

Official authorities are responsible for making the admission exam results public for candidates' reference. Applicants can see the admission test results on the university's official website a few days after the test has been completed. Applicants must use their login ID and password to access the university's official website.

Admission to IITTM is based on the cut-off score released by the institution. This is further based on two types of cut-offs:

  • The qualifying cut-off to shortlist candidates 
  • Final cut-off or call cut-off 

The final cut-off is always higher than the qualifying cut-off. Candidates are expected to clear both the sectional as well as the overall cut-off for admission to MBA programs. Usually, the cut-off ranges between 70 and 80 percentile.

  • Yes, final-year graduation students can apply for the IITTM's MBA program. However, they must submit their results before 30th September 2021. If not, their admission will be cancelled.
