About IITTM 2021

IITTM is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 and has various locations, i.e., Gwalior, Bhubaneswar, Noida, Nellore, and Goa. IITTM Admission Criteria 2021

MBA in Travel and Tourism:

The CAT/ MAT/ IIAT/ ATMA test results are used to determine admission to IITTM's MBA program. A valid GMAT score is required for international students. The results of the national entrance test are used to determine admission to other IITTM programs. The admissions procedure is as follows:

  • Those interested in applying for IITTM must do so online.
  • The CAT score and the PI-WAT round are used to determine admission to the MBA program.
  • A cut-off score is announced, and students who pass the exam are invited to the second round of admissions.
  • For the admissions procedure, international candidates must maintain important papers such as their SOP on hand.

Eligibility Criteria for IITTM Admission:

  • CAT for Indian students and GMAT and GRE for international students 
  • Bachelor's degree (Minimum 50% aggregate)
  • Though some courses do not require it, having work experience has always been given preference. 

BBA in Travel and Tourism:

The IIAT test results are used to determine admission to IITTM's BBA program. The results of the national entrance test are used to determine admission to other IITTM programs. The admissions procedure is as follows:

  • Those interested in applying for IITTM must do so online.
  • The IIAT score and the PI-WAT round are used to determine admission to the BBA program.
  • A cut-off score is announced, and students who pass the exam are invited to the second round of admissions.

  • 10+2 degree (Minimum 50% aggregate)
  • Though some courses do not require it, having work experience has always been given preference in group discussion and personal interviews.

IITTM Cut-Off 2021

Admission to IITTM is based on the cut-off score released by the institution. This is further based on two types of cut-offs:

  • The qualifying cut-off to shortlist candidates 
  • Final cut-off or call cut-off 

The final cut-off is always higher than the qualifying cut-off. Candidates are expected to clear both the sectional as well as the overall cut-off for admission to MBA programs. Usually, the cut-off ranges between 70 and 80 percentile.

Students must qualify for both CAT or any other entrance exam overall, as well as the sectional cut-off to shortlist for the final interview. 

The final cut-off is calculated based on CAT and interview scores.

IITTM Scholarships 2021

IITTM students can apply for government scholarships given by a variety of departments to students in various divisions. Every academic year, around 150 students benefit from these grants.

In addition to these awards, IITTM provides a Freeship to one male and one female student of each program for the semester in which they receive the highest mark. The amount of the Freeship will be granted to each program's students every year.
