IIM Ranchi Placement & Packages 2022: Process, Lowest, Highest Packages

The IIM Ranchi Placements 2022 concluded their final placement round for their MBA & MBA HR Batch of 2019-21 with a 100% placement record. 

The institute witnessed the participation of top MNCs and coveted roles were offered across multiple domains, including Sales & Marketing, Strategy & Consulting, Finance, Operations, etc. These top MNCs include Capgemini, Infosys, DELL Technologies, Mahindra & Mahindra, Vedanta, Accenture, Deloitte, etc.

A total of 273 students were placed from IIM Ranchi MBA and MBA in HR program during placements 2021. The highest salary package offered for its MBA program is Rs 26.5 LPA and 29.75 LPA for MBA in HR. 

MBA:

• There was a hike in the highest CTC offered from 22.37 LPA to 26.5 LPA in 2021
• A marginal dip was recorded in the average CTC offered  from 15.11 LPA in 2020 to 14.69 LPA in 2021
•  A hike was recorded in the median CTC offered at 14.82 LPA in 2020 to 14.95 LPA in 2021
• The total number of recruiters surged from 94 to 128 for the MBA programme and the number of new recruiters increased from 71 to 97

MBA – HR:

• The average stipend offered to the 2020-22 batch for summer internship was 1 lakh 
• There was a slight increase in the median stipend offered in 2021 at 80 thousand to 85.96 thousand in 2022
• The  highest stipend offered at IIM Ranchi stood at 2.89 LPA in 2022 for the 2020-22 batch 

IIM Ranchi Summer Placements 2022:

MBA

• The total batch strength for the MBA programs increased from 281 in 2021 to 329 in 2022
• A marginal increase was recorded in the average stipend offered from 97.5 thousand in 2021 to 95.69 thousand in  2022
• There was a slight dip in the median stipend offered in 2021 at 75 thousand to 73 thousand in 2022

MBA HR

• The average stipend offered to the 2020-22 batch for summer internship was 1 lakh 
• There was a slight increase in the median stipend offered in 2021 at 80 thousand to 85.96 thousand in 2022
• The highest stipend offered at IIM Ranchi stood at 2.89 LPA in 2022 for the 2020-22 batch 

The Training and Placement Cell (TAP) at IIM Ranchi is responsible for arranging placements for its students. 

• Students and companies interact on-campus through guest lectures, business conclaves, live projects, and corporate competitions.
• The batch profiles are shared with the interested organizations by the TAP.
• The organizations visit the campus to conduct pre-placement talks.
• The resumes of the interested candidates are shared with the participating companies.
• The selection process is conducted through campus visits or video conferencing by the companies during the placement season.
