  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: a trace or remnant of something that is disappearing or no longer exists.
  • Synonyms:  Trace, Remnant
  • Usage in Sentence: He didn’t have even a vestige of hope left after he failed in his last competitive exam.

  • Meaning: encourage the development of (something, especially something desirable).

5. Word: Indenture (अनुबंधपत्र)

  • Pronunciation: in-den-cher/इन्डेन्चर
  • Part of Speech: Verb, Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. (in the past) to officially agree that someone, often a young person, will work for someone else, especially in order to learn a job (Verb)
    b. to bind by indenture, as an apprentice (Verb)
    c. a deed or agreement executed in two or more copies with edges (Noun) correspondingly indented as a means of identification (Noun)
    d. any deed, written contract, or sealed agreement (Noun)
    e. a contract by which a person, as an apprentice, is bound to service (Noun)

  • Usage in a sentence: Turkey was once an important colonial power.

8. Word: Substantial (मजबूत)

  • Pronunciation: सब्स्टैन्शल/Subs-tan-cial
  • Meaning: referring to something that is greater or larger than normal
  • Synonyms: considerable, real, material, weighty,
  • Antonyms:  insubstantial, worthless
  • Usage in a sentence: Known for his substantial efforts in winning, the competitive boy rarely could find someone to play against because the opponent knew he would lose.

9. WordReparation (क्षतिपूर्ति)

  • Pronunciation: rep-uh-rey-shuhn/ रेपरैशन
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: 
    a. the action of making amends for a wrong one has done, by providing payment or other assistance to those who have been wronged.
    b. the action of repairing something.
  • Synonyms: redress, compensation, recompense
  • Antonyms: destruction, confiscation
  • Usage in a Sentence: Offenders should be forced to make reparation to the community.

10Word: Disrupt (अस्त-व्यस्त करना)

  • Pronunciation: dis-ruhpt/डिस्रप्ट

  • Meaning: 
    a. interrupt (an event, activity, or process) by causing a disturbance or problem.
    b. drastically alter or destroy the structure of.
  • Synonyms: distort, damage, buckle, warp
  • Antonyms: organize, arrange, mend
  • Usage in a Sentence: He refused to hear anything that might disrupt his plans.
