    a. full of, characterized by, or due to zeal; ardently active, devoted, or diligent.

2. Word: Amend (सुधारना)

  • Meaning:

  • Pronunciation: puh-tur-nl/ पटर्नल

  • Meaning
    a. characteristic of or befitting a father; fatherly:
    b. of or relating to a father.
    c. related on the father's side:
    d. derived or inherited from a father:
  • Synonyms: fatherly, patriarchal, patrimonial
  • Antonyms: maternal, motherly, unfatherly 
  • Usage in a sentence: My paternal aunt created a ruckus at a family event. 

4. Word: Scrutiny (तहकीकात)

  • Pronunciation: skroot-n-ee/ स्क्रूटनी
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. a searching examination or investigation; minute inquiry.
    b. surveillance; close and continuous watching or guarding.
    c. a close and searching look.
  • Synonyms: examination, inspection, investigation
  • Antonyms: neglect, eyeshot, flashback
  • Usage in a sentence: A serious scrutiny is necessary to counter this avoidable trend of a server breakdown.

5. Word: Stake (दाँव पर लगाना)

  • Pronunciation: steyk/ स्टैक
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning:
    a. the money risked on a gamble
    b. place a bet on
    c. kill by piercing with a spear or sharp pole
    d. put at risk
  • Synonyms: venture, gamble, hazard
  • Antonyms: safety, liability, guard

6. Word: Err (ग़लती करना)

  • Meaning:
    a. to go astray in thought or belief; be mistaken; be incorrect.
    b. to go astray morally; sin:
    ]c. Archaic. to deviate from the true course, aim, or purpose.
  • Synonyms: slip, blunder, transgress 
  • Antonyms: accurate, correct, contemplate 
  • Usage in a sentence: He erred while taking the lecture and he apologised instantly. 

7. Word: Statute (अधिनियम)

  • Pronunciation: stach-oot/ स्टैचूट
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. an enactment made by a legislature and expressed in a formal document.
    b. International Law. an instrument annexed or subsidiary to an international agreement, as a treaty.
    c. a permanent rule established by an organization, corporation, etc., to govern its internal affairs.
  • Synonyms: regulation, decree, ordinance 
  • Antonyms: refrain, convict, anarchy
  • Usage in a sentence: Although there is no general law of adoption, yet it is permitted by a statute amongst various religions and constitutions. 

8. Word: Audacious (दुःसाहसी)

  • Pronunciation: aw-dey-shuhs/ ऑडेशस

  • Meaning:
    a. extremely bold or daring; recklessly brave; fearless:
    b. extremely original; without restriction to prior ideas; highly inventive:

9. Word: Claustrophobic (संवृति भीत)

    a. suffering from claustrophobia; abnormally afraid of closed-in places
    b. uncomfortably closed or hemmed in

10. Word: Susceptible (अतिसंवेदनशील)

    a. admitting or capable of some specified treatment:
    b. accessible or especially liable or subject to some influence, mood, agency, etc.:
    c. capable of being affected emotionally; impressionable.

  • Usage in a sentence: The security system was susceptible to multiple breaches due to the quality of encryptions used to secure the data. 

11. Word: Detriment (नुकसान)

  • Pronunciation: de-truh-muhnt/ डेट्रमन्ट
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. loss, damage, disadvantage, or injury.
    b. a cause of loss or damage.
  • Synonyms: damage, harm, injury
  • Antonyms: benefit, advantage, perks  
  • Usage in a sentence: The cyclone turned out to be a huge detriment to everyday life around the coastal region of the place. 

12. Word: Conform (स्वीकार करना)

  • Pronunciation: kuhn-fawrm/ कन्फॉर्म
  • Part of Speech: Noun/ Verb 
  • Meaning:
    a. to act in accordance or harmony; comply (usually followed by to):
    b. to act in accord with the prevailing standards, attitudes, practices, etc., of society or a group:
    c. to be or become similar in form, nature, or character.
