Apply for B.Tech in IT and Mathematical Innovation: B.Tech in IT and Mathematical Innovation course is offered by Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi. This unique course is designed to inculcate an innovation mindset as part of the curriculum and pedagogy. Building strong analytical skills through Mathematics and application skills of Information Technology (IT), this course encourages students to recognize the connectedness of various disciplines. The course B.Tech (IT and Mathematical Innovations) was started in 2011. The first batch of this course graduated in 2015.
Eligibility Criterion
- General Category & EWS - 60% in any four subjects (including mathematics).
- OBC Category - 54% in any four subjects (including mathematics).
- PH Category - 57% in any four subjects (including mathematics).
- SC/ST Category - Passing marks with Mathematics as one subject.
Syllabus of the Entrance Exam
- Mathematics till 10+2 level
- Reasoning
- Analytical ability
Pattern of Examination
- Written, Single Option Correct MCQ Based Test
- 100 Multiple Choice Questions
- 2 Hours Duration
- 4 Choices are given per question
- Each question carries 4 Marks
- Negative Marking (1 Mark deducted for incorrect answer)
- No Marks deducted for Unattempted Questions
Number of Seats
In 2019 – 20 there will be 44 seats* in B.Tech (IT and Mathematical Innovations). They are distributed as
- General Category – 20 seats
- EWS – 2 seats
- OBC Category – 12 seats
- SC Category – 7 seats
- ST Category – 3 seats
Apart from these, there are 6 supernumerary seats as follows:
- PwD Category – 2 seats
- CW Category – 2 seats
- Foreign nationals – 2 seats
