Pull up your socks and get ready to fight for the final race called the revision race, before the examination.
As the final exam date is approaching soon, the candidates must focus on their last-minute preparations. Here are some last- minute preparation tips for JEE Main 2021:
- Set a realistic target: Allocate specific time for revision, practice and mock tests for every subject (physics, mathematics and chemistry) based on your strengths and weaknesses. For example, spend more time on Physics if it is your weak subject and you need more practice in that subject. This is a high time so utilize it smartly and rigorously. Do not make a rigid schedule which may impact your health. Divide your schedule in such a manner that you take proper breaks and proper time to sleep.
- Focus on most important topics: Go through the previous years papers and analyze which topics have the major weightage
- Short notes: Go through each and every concept as fast as possible from your notes with full concentration to ensure you understand them and retain them. In case you are not clear, refer to your textbooks. Make brief notes of concepts, equations, formulae and a list of important diagrams etc. Practice the applications of all the concepts and formulae. Go through the steps to solve the problem to keep a clarity of sequence and approach.
- Solve as many mocks possible: Ensure attempting maximum number of mock tests, this is the only way you can get perfection over time. Practicing mocks will help you monitor your speed and accuracy. Set a timer to solve every problem, don’t waste more time than the fixed amount. Move to the next question immediately. Mark the question as “review for later” if you are not able to solve the problems in a certain decided time.
- Don’t discuss your preparation: the biggest mistake students do is that they compare their progress or preparation with their mates and feel inferior or lose confidence. Everybody has their own strategy to prepare. There is a possibility that the topic which you might master is weaker for the other candidate and you may score better. Be confident on the topics you have studied whole heartedly.
- Don’t think about the results: Results are not in your hand rather, preparation is so stay focused on revision.
You can make your own study plan or can follow the following plan to revises the topics day wise for JEE Main 2021
