Know About the Institute: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur: IIT Kanpur is reputed all over the world for its innovative academic programmes stressing science-based engineering education. NIRF & QS Ranking 

IIT KANPUR was ranked fifth among engineering colleges in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2017, and seventh overall. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings ranked IIT Kanpur 501-600 globally in 2018. In India, among all the engineering colleges, IIT K was ranked third by India Today in the year 2017, fourth in India by Outlook India and fifth by The Week. Internationally, IIT Kanpur was ranked 293 in QS World University Rankings for 2018. The same institute was ranked 59 in Asia and 21 among BRICS nations in the year 2018. In 2019 IIT Kanpur improved his ranking by 10 ranks up and hold the position 283 according to QS world ranking.
