XAT 2018 is 9 months away. XAT is an exam not very unlike CAT. However, the strategies to score are very different as opposed to CAT. This is because excellence in XAT heavily depends on question selection. Also, there are a few interesting changes in XAT.
Interesting Subtle Pattern Changes in XAT
- General Awareness would not be considered for initial shortlisting
- Only during the Interview process will it be considered
- You can only have a maximum of 12 unattempted questions
- Beyond the 12th question, each unanswered question carries a negative marking of -0.05
- The verbal part in XAT 2017 appeared easier than that of the previous years
