KVS Teacher Exam Pattern 2023

Aspirants have to go through a 2-tier selection process: (a) Written and (b) Interview for PRT, TGT and PGT. Applicants need to prepare well as many people apply for this post. To prepare well, they need to have a good understanding of the KVS exam pattern. It will help the aspirants to score better and prepare as per the KVS Official notification. • Total Time- 180 Minutes (3 Hours)
• Medium of Examination- English/Hindi (Bilingual)
• Type of Questions- Objective type
• Marking System- 1 mark for each question
• Mode of The Examination: Online Mode (Computer-Based Test)

KVS PGT 2023 Exam Pattern

In the KVS PGT post, Part 1 includes General Hindi and General English. Part 2 includes Reasoning Ability, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, and Computer Literacy. Part 3 includes the Perspectives on Education and Leadership and in Part 4 the concerned subject part is included. Time allotment and marks distribution are mentioned in the table below:

KVS TGT 2023 Exam Pattern

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan board has also provided the exam pattern for Trained Graduate Teachers. This exam will be held for 180 minutes. The total number of questions asked in this examination will be 180 for 1 mark each. 

• ​​​The Professional Competency Test will be conducted for 60 marks (Demo Teaching - 30 marks and Interview - 30 Marks)

KVS PRT 2023 Exam Pattern

KVS had released Primary Teacher (PRT) vacancies in various subjects: English, Hindi, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Reasoning Ability, Computer Literacy, Perspectives on Education & leadership, and the Subject concerned. Check the given below table:

• The weightage of the Written Test & Professional Competency (Demo Teaching:15 and Interview:15) will be 70:30 Final merit list will be based on the performance of the candidate in the Written Test & Professional Competency Test taken together.
