Set Your Own Targets and Try to Achieve It

Devote Equal Time for Every Section
In the last week of your preparation, you must spend at least 90 to 120 minutes on a regular basis on each subject. However, you can give special attention to the topics which you think you are weak at in the last week of your preparation.

Go Through Previous Year Question Papers
To get complete knowledge and pattern of the UP RO ARO exam you should solve all the previous year question papers. This will help you identify your strong and weak areas.

Attempt One Full-length Mock Every Day
Try to attempt at least one full-length mock every day. Analyze your weak areas and attempt the sectional mocks accordingly. Doing this will give you enough practice and it will be much easier for you when you face the real exam.

Go Through Last One Year Current Affairs
Current Affairs has now become an important topic in the UP RO ARO exam, at least 4 to 5 questions directly/ indirectly are put up from current affairs. Hence, it becomes essential to go through the last 6 12 months of current affairs such as important appointments, important personalities, awards and honours, military exercises, etc.

Work on Speed and Accuracy
In the last week of your preparation, work both on speed as well as accuracy. You can do this easily by first focusing on getting the solution right first and then getting it right in a fast manner.

Exercise Regularly
Try to get involved in any kind of physical exercise.  Meditation is one such excellent way to connect with your mind and find peace within. A peaceful mind is a happy mind, and a happy mind always attracts all the positive energies around it. If meditation does not seem like your way of connecting with yourself, get involved in any kind of physical exercise. Physical exercise and workouts lead to a healthy body as well as a healthy mind.

Listen to Music for Some Time
Music can do wonders for the restless mind, try to listen to motivational music as this will boost your confidence.

Don’ts of UP RO ARO exam Preparation

Do not Panic
You should not panic both before and during the exam. Be calm and attempt the exam paper with full focus. For this, as mentioned above build a habit of giving full length mocks daily

Do not Mug Up Things
Do not cram the things, try to have a good understanding of all the concepts of the subjects

Do not have Multiple Study Material
Avoid using multiple books or study material in the last week of your study. It will add to the clutter and create more confusion in the last days of your preparation.

Do not Stick to One Question
While attempting a paper, do not give too much time to any particular question and move on to other questions, even if it is your strongest topic. Sometimes the examiner deliberately gives tough questions to consume time. Skip the tough questions there is a possibility that you may find easy questions at the end of the paper.

Avoid Late Night Studies
Do not get stressed out and go for late-night study just before the exam. Your mind needs proper rest to perform at its optimum level at the exam. Maintain a proper schedule, routine and diet.

Leaving General Awareness for Last Time
General Awareness and Current Affairs is a subject which needs proper revision in the last few days. This subject cannot be done in an overnight preparation. Therefore, at the last minute revise your current affairs notes and static gk notes which you have prepared at the time of preparation.

Don’t Rush for Short Tricks
Don’t rush for short tricks without knowing the concepts well as a slight tweak in the question can prove to be very disadvantageous.
