- With this, Mumbai Indians became the team with most IPL title in the 13-year history of the league.
- Rohit Sharma 'Numero Uno' player-cum-leader in the IPL Universe scored 68 run in the match which is the highest score of the match
- IPL was established by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007.

- National Education Day is celebrated on 11 November every year in India to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad
- Maulana Abul Kalam Azad served India from 1947 to 1958 as the first Minister of Education in Jawaharlal Nehru's cabinet. He was posthumously awarded with Bharat Ratna in 1992

3. NeGD & NLIU launches Online Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Law
- National e-Governance Division (NeGD) in partnership with National Law Institute University, Bhopal has launched Online PG Diploma programme on ‘Cyber Law, Crime Investigation & Digital Forensics’
- Duration: 9 months
- It will be made available to about 1000 officials through NLIU and NeGD’s Digital Learning Management System (LMS)
- Aim: Enable Police Officers, Cyber Cells, Agencies, Prosecutors and Judicial Officers to deal with Cyber Forensics cases

- Assam’s Tezpur Litchi has been granted the Geographical Indication (GI) tag, making this item an incontrovertible proof of their origins in the state.
- Litchi’s from Tezpur region of Assam is known for its excellent quality, pleasant flavour, juicy pulp with attractive red colour.
- Its name is in the list of GI group since 2015. However, APEDA recently confirmed its GI granting
- GI tag is given to products with specific geo-origin and possess specific qualities

5. Nagaland to celebrate Hornbill Festival virtually due to COVID-19
- Nagaland’s popular Hornbill festival will be celebrated virtually in 2020 due to COVID-19
- Nagaland observes Hornbill Festival, every year from December 1 to 10 to showcase the rich culture, heritage, food, and customs of Naga tribes at Kisama village.
- This 10 day long festival comprises of sixteen tribes with their traditions with colorful dance performances
- In 2020, the festival could be observed over audiovisual media channels and social media platforms.

- Australia-India Water Centre (AIWC) has been inaugurated virtually amid COVID-19 pandemic to promote water-related research, teaching, and training between the two countries
- AIWC will be led by University of Western Sydney from Australia and IIT Guwahati from India.
- It will also have 21 other partners from India and Australia apart from IIT.
- For better facilitation, 5 year MoU has also been established as a long term plan dor water related research

9. Kalka-shimla rounte gets new 5th Narrow Gauge locomotive
- Central Railway workshop in Mumbai, Maharashtra has manufactured 5th Narrow Gauge locomotive that will run between Kalka to Shimla route
- Kalka–Shimla railway is a 2 ft 6 inch narrow-gauge railway in North India which traverses mountainous route from Kalka to Shimla.
- It was built under the direction of Herbert Septimus Harington between 1898 and 1903
- UNESCO added Kalka–Shimla railway to the mountain railways of India World Heritage Site in 2008

11. Akshay Kumar Singh appointed as new MD & CEO of Petronet LNG
- Indian Oil Corp (IOC) director-pipelines Akshay Kumar Singh has been appointed as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive of Petronet LNG Ltd.
- He succeeded Prabhat Singh who completed his five-year term on September 13, 2020.
- Petronet: It is a joint venture of IOC, GAIL, Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) and BPCL. These 4 state-owned firms hold 12.5% stake each in the company whose chairman is the Oil Secretary.
- Petronet Headquarters: New Delhi.

12. Malayalam author S Hareesh wins the JCB Prize for Literature 2020
- Malayalam author S Hareesh has won 2020 JCB Prize for Literature for his debut novel Moustache.
- The novel has been published by HarperCollins India.
- Moustache has been translated into English by Jayasree Kalathil
- The author will receive cash prize of Rs. 25 lakh, while translator will receive Rs. 10 lakh.
- JCB Prize for Literature: It was established in 2018 as the richest literary prize in India. It honours distinguished work of fiction.

13. Armenia & Azerbaijan signs Russia brokered peace deal
- Armenia has signed peace agreement with Azerbaijan to end six-weeks military conflict over the disputed enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh
- The peace deal was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
- Under this, Azerbaijan will hold on to areas of Nagorno-Karabakh that it has taken during the conflict and Armenia will withdraw from several other adjacent areas over the next few weeks.
