Startup Village Entrepreneurship Programme [SVEP] is a scheme launched by the Indian government to help entrepreneurs in rural areas of the country. It is a sub-scheme launched under the DAY NRLM (Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana National Rural Livelihood Mission). SVEP was first implemented in 2016 by the Union Ministry of Rural Development in India.
