The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the hall ticket dated 14th of July,2021. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 will be held on the 23rd of July 2021, in offline, pen-paper mode. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Consortium has decided that CLAT would be a social distanced test. It released comprehensive guidelines to be followed by the candidates appearing in the exam. Candidates should read and follow all the guidelines which are divided into two parts. The first guidelines are related to the code of conduct while the other one is related to COVID- 19 specific guidelines.
The details related to the guidelines will be mentioned on the CLAT 2021 Admit Card. Candidates need to mandatorily bring the following items to the examination centres.
List of items to be carried to the CLAT Exam Centre
One hard copy of the admit card.
A valid ID card proof (Such as Voter ID, Pan Card, Aadhar Card).
A ballpoint pen.
- The candidates are allowed to carry Analog Wrist Watch for the test. No other watches, electronic gadgets will be permitted at the exam centres.
CLAT Admit Card 2021: Some General Instructions
Candidates are required to report to the CLAT exam center at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
Candidates will not be permitted to enter the test center after 15 minutes of the commencement of the examination.
Candidates must carry the photocopy of the downloaded admit card along with ID proof such as Aadhar card, Pan card, Driving license, Voter ID etc.
Candidates who do not have their photograph printed on the admit card must carry an attested photograph to the center. Candidates will be asked to show the admit card with a photograph at the test center.
Candidates must not carry any objectionable material such as electronic devices, calculators, paper etc. Disciplinary action could be taken on such possession at the exam centre.
Candidates are advised to get vaccinated before CLAT 2021 amid the Covid-19 situation.
Candidates must bring their own masks, gloves, transparent water bottle and hand sanitisers.
Candidates must strictly adhere to the notified time slots.
COVID Specific CLAT Exam Day Guidelines
Thermal Screening will be mandatory.
Staff with the Thermo Guns will be present at the entry gate.
All candidates with temperature >99.14 will be directed to the isolation lab for taking the examination.
Candidates must maintain Social Distancing norms.
3 ply masks and gloves will be provided to the isolated candidates.
Candidates must follow the instructions given by the invigilator inside the exam hall.
