This is the most important thing. The most important thing to know before you start the preparations is the latest exam pattern of CLAT. The Consortium has changed the exam pattern and below are the highlights of the pattern.
The CLAT 2022 shall be a 2-hour test, with 150 multiple choice questions carrying one mark each for the correct answers.
The negative marking of 0.25 marks will be there for every wrong answer.
CLAT 2021 is designed to be a test of aptitude and skills that are required for a legal education rather than prior knowledge, though the Current Affair section may need prior knowledge.
Keep yourself updated about the changes because the preparation and performance of the candidate get deeply affected.
The questions in the exam will now appear in passage form. There will be passages of approximately 400 words based on which multiple choice questions will be asked on each passage.
The syllabus is categorized into 5 wings that are discussed as follows

Some of the most prominent NLU's are:

Does Stream in Class 12 matter?
That would be a No. Law as a course is no longer considered as chosen by students from the particular stream. CLAT does not require a particular stream like NEET and JEE. Candidates from any stream like Science, Arts, Humanities can go for CLAT. Law is taken as a first priority by a lot of people, and students appearing for CLAT are increasing with every passing year.
