CAT 2019 is scheduled on Sunday, November 24. This year IIM Kozhikode is the conducting body of CAT 2019. The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an annual admission test conducted by IIMs for their PGP (equivalent to MBA) admissions and PGDM courses. The exam will be held in two slots - morning and afternoon. 

CAT 2019 Slot 1 timing

• The morning slot 1 of CAT 2019 will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
• The Candidates have to report at 7:30 am for slot one and they would not be allowed to enter the examination hall after 8:45 am.

CAT 2019 Slot 2 timing

• The slot 2 of CAT 2019 will be held from 2:30 am to 5:30 pm.
• The Candidates have to report at 1.00 pm for slot 2 and they would not be allowed to enter the examination hall after 2:15 pm.

Mode of the Exam

• CAT 2019 will held in online (computer-based) mode.

Following are some important points that you must keep in mind before going to the exam:

1. Know the route of your exam centre in advance and reach there well before the reporting time to avoid the last time rush.

2. Do not fetch any negative mark and attempt questions with the utmost accuracy.

3. Do not get nervous if you come across any new/difficult questions. 

5. Keep all the essentials like your admit card, one xerox of ID proof (with original), passport size photograph, etc. 

6. Sleep early, worry less and give your best in the exam.
