WBTET Cut off Marks 2021

WBTET stands for West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test. It is conducted by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE). This test is similar to the CTET and other states' TET and is necessary for all the aspirants who want to apply for teaching jobs in the state. WB Primary TET Details:

  • WB TET includes two papers-Paper-1 and Paper-2.

WB TET Minimum Qualifying Marks

The WB TET Minimum Qualifying Marks is prepared on the National Council for Teacher Education’s Guideline 9A. As per which:

  • Candidates from General or unreserved category need to obtain 60 percent marks (i.e., 90/150)

West Bengal Primary TET 2021: Exam Overview

  • All questions in WBTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate.
  • Each carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking.
  • There will be two papers in WBTET.
    (i) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
    (ii) Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII
  • A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both papers (Paper I and Paper II).
