MH CET 2021 5 Year LLB Notification is Out. MH CET has released the notification for the 5 Year LLB Program across its many participating Universities. MAH CET is quite a popular examination that is often eyed by the aspirants who appear for several law exams such as CLAT, AILET, and SLAT, etc.

The examination stands as a pathway to the colleges in Maharashtra. It is called the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (5-year B.A.LL.B course & 3-year LL.B course). The exam covers various universities of Maharashtra such as Savitribai Phule University, Pune; Solapur University, University of Mumbai, Shivaji University, Kohlapur; Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathawada University, Aurangabad, etc.

  • There's no provision of the negative marking system.

MH CET 2021 Law Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the following eligibility before filling the MH CET Law 2021 Application form.

  • Indian Candidates having completed 10th & 12th from outside Maharashtra belonging to all categories are eligible.

  • Candidates should pass 10th and 12th from Maharashtra & have Maharashtra domicile or born in Maharashtra belonging to a particular Linguistic or Religious Minority Community within the State as issued by the Govt are eligible to apply.

  • Those who fulfill the eligibility given for the NRI candidates are eligible. They don’t have to apply for CET.

  • Those are from J&K to any part of India or from unsafe border areas of J&K can apply.

Candidates can apply through the only one type of Maharashtra State Candidature that is mentioned as

  • The candidate should be born in Maharashtra or having domicile of the state.

  • The father or mother of a candidate is domiciled in the state of Maharashtra.

  • The father or mother of a candidate is employed in the Government of India or posted or reported in duty in Maharashtra State before the last date of submission application form for CAP.

  • The father or mother of a candidate is an employee of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking.

  • Candidates those passed 10th or 12th  or equivalent examination from a recognized institution from a divided Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose Mother tongue is Marathi.

Age Criteria

  • Lower Age Limit: The age limit should be 20 years (22 years for SC/ST of Maharashtra only) as of 1st July 2021.

  • Upper Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to appear in both exams.

Qualification Criteria

For 5 years LLB course

Qualifying Exam: Candidate must pass the 10th and 12th examinations from the recognized board of Maharashtra state or from outside.

Minimum Marks:

  • Candidates must have 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam (40% marks for reserved categories of Maharashtra state).

  • Candidates, those complete their 12th class from the Distance or Correspondence method, can also apply (gap of not less than Two Years between 10th  and 12th ).

  • Candidates who obtained 10 Std./Secondary Schooling Certificate Examination, in a Single Sitting Examination without having any Basic Qualification (1st To 9th Standard of Schooling) are not eligible.

  • Appearing Candidates are also eligible to apply.

Process to fill MH CET Law Online Application Form 2021

The following five steps of the MH CET law 2021 application process give you the clarity to filling the process formation. 

  • In the official website of MH CET law, you can opt for the law program you want to apply for.
  • On the notification section, you have to Click on the New Registration/Login.

Step 1 - Filling up basic information

  • Candidate’s name: Fill as it appears on the 10th/12th mark sheets.
  • Father’s name: Fill as it appears on the 10th/12th mark sheets.
  • Contact no: The given Contact no should be active throughout the MH CET law selection process. All information will be done on the same mobile number.
  • E-mail ID

Step 2 - Upload photo and signature

Upload a recent passport size photo and signature as per the given below instructions:

Step 3 - Basic details of candidates

Candidates need to provide the following details.

  • Personal details

  • Permanent address

  • Correspondence address

  • Account details like name of the account holder, name of the bank and branch, account number, IFSC (if require), etc

  • opt the suitable exam centers.

  • The one who is applying under the social category should have the caste certificate from Maharashtra State.

  • Candidates applying under EWS candidates should have an “Eligibility Certificate for the same from the state of Maharashtra.

Step 4 - submission of MH CET Law application form 2021

After filling in all the details, the candidate can recheck their entered details from the “Preview” option. From this option, Candidates may confirm that all details are filled in correctly in the application form. If assured, the application form should be submitted.

Step 5- Fee Payment

In online mode, the candidates can pay the application fee of MH CET Law. The candidates can pay fees through net banking, credit card, and debit card. According to the category of the candidate, the registration fee will differ.
