About NIEC Delhi MBA College

Northern India Engineering College, now renamed to Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management, was established in the year 2003. It is situated in a sprawling, green campus spread over 9 acres of lush greenery at Shastri Park. NIEC Delhi Ranking 2021

NIEC Delhi offers a sprawling campus of 9 acres to its students and boasts of exceptionally talented faculty. Its students have been known to acquire placement packages of as high as ₹19 LPA. NIEC Delhi Admission Criteria and Process 2021

Admissions to NIEC Delhi Courses can be applied if you fulfil any one of the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 50% aggregate score on a recognized Bachelor's degree of three years or higher in any discipline,
  • A minimum of 50% aggregate score on Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in any discipline, or 50% minimum aggregate score on any equivalent degree,
  • Having passed the final exam of any of these institutions:
  • Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England
  • Institute of Company Secretaries of India
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England
  • For admission to the MBA Financial Analysis programme, the candidate must have secured passing marks on 10+2 level mathematics.
  • A valid IPU CET score for GGSIPU

NIEC Delhi provides admissions to candidates based on their merit on the CAT exam first, followed by the CMAT exam. If there are seats left vacant after evaluation of candidates based on these two criteria, then the GSSIPU CET score is used to further select candidates based on merit.

NIEC Delhi admission process is as follows:

  • Online mode of filling applications for MBA courses begins in June-July each year. The application fee is ₹1,000.
  • Two applications are required to be filled, one carrying personal information and the second with academic information and the courses the candidate wishes to pursue.
  • The CET exam is conducted based on the slot and centre selected by the candidate.
  • The exam is held in August.

NIEC Delhi Packages and Placements 2021

In order to ensure the brightest of futures for its students, NIEC Delhi has established a dedicated Training and Placement Division that is comprised of faculty and student coordinators and staff members. NIEC Delhi Courses 2021

NIEC Delhi offers a two-year post-graduate programme in business administration to candidates that fulfil its eligibility criteria for admissions. The course comprises the following components spaced over a duration of two years:

  • Industry visits in the first year
  • Summer Training for the students of the second semester of the NIEC Delhi course
  • Project Dissertation in the final year in the topic of candidate's choice.
  • Special courses to augment management skills in students such as Business Analytics, Business Simulation and games, managerial skills development, etc.

NIEC Delhi Scholarship 2021

NIEC Delhi provides two scholarship options to its students that are run by AICTE:

  • AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme for girls:
  • ₹50,000 for every year of study post selection
  • Eligibility for the scholarship is based on 10+2 merit, disbursal to the first 5,000 candidates.
  • AICTE Saksham Scholarship Scheme
  • ₹30,000 tuition fee for specially-abled students in families with income no greater than ₹8 LPA.

This year, the duration for application to these scholarships has been extended to 31st July.

Spread over 9 acres of land, the NIEC Delhi campus offers its student the following facilities:

  • Computer centre - NIEC (MBA) campus has about 1,000 computers housed in fully air-conditioned labs. Internet connectivity is round-the-clock with a dedicated line of 100Mbps bandwidth.
  • Library - NIEC houses a library with over 90,000 books, 143 national and international journals and a digital library as well.
  • Central Workshop - The campus has a workshop for its technology students to teach welding, foundry, fitting, carpentry and other vocations for better understanding.
