IIM Kozhikode History:

IIM Kozhikode was founded in 1996 by the Government of India in cooperation with the Kerala State Administration. It is a Central Autonomous Organization overseen by the Governing Board and controlled by the IIM Act 2017. IIM Kozhikode is located in the Kunnamangalam region of Kerala's old city of Calicut, on 112-acres of land. For its flagship PGP programme, IIM Kozhikode admission process is divided into three stages. The first stage of the application process is meeting the minimum eligibility criteria through CAT. Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted for admission into Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other top business schools. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria are further evaluated and shortlisted for the next stage, based on the Aggregate Index Score (AIS). The score is calculated based on several components such as CAT score, Work Experience, scores in Class X and XII, diversity etc. 

At the third and final stage, shortlisted candidates will be called to appear for a Personal Interview. Post the completion of the selection process, on the basis of merit, admission offers will be extended to the selected candidates. 

The aptitude test scores considered for Post Graduate Programme in Finance (PGP-Finance ), Post Graduate Programme in Liberal Studies & Management (PGP-LSM ), and Post Graduate Programme in Business Leadership (PGP-BL) are CAT, GMAT, and GRE.

Eligibility Criteria for IIM Kozhikode Admission:

For PGP 

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 60% 
• 50% of minimum aggregate in CA/ICWA/CS (in case of absence of a duly recognised Bachelor’s degree)
• It is essential to meet the minimum eligibility criteria which includes overall and sectional cut-off score in CAT along with min required percentage in Class X and XII provided below
• A positive raw score across sections in CAT 2021

Admission to the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode is based on several factors. To be considered for admission, applicants are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria. The minimum cut-off CAT score for this year is 85 percentile and the minimum sectional cut-off percentile is 75.

• Hostel facilities: Over 910 students can be accommodated in 15 well-designed dormitories within the Institute. Air conditioning is available in certain hostels. All hostel rooms have been equipped with a LAN connection. In every hostel, there is a TV and a washing machine.

The Indian Institute of Management at Kozhikode provides excellent residential amenities, including twin-sitting and single-sitting rooms and separate buildings and floors for boys and girls.
