IIM Amritsar is a new IIM that started in 2015 that offers MBA and PhD programs based on a valid score in the CAT exam. The IIMs publish two types of CAT cutoffs for admission – the shortlist or qualifying cut-off and the final cutoff.
IIM Amritsar MBA admission 2021 process for its flagship course MBA involves two stages - the first stage involves the shortlisting of eligible candidates for the Personal Interview and Written Ability Test round, and the second stage wherein the shortlisted candidates go through the final round of PI and WAT for final selection.
During final selection, a higher weightage is given to PI, work experience, academic, and WAT rather than the CAT score. Eligible candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will receive an email to confirm their IIM Amritsar admission.

Step 2 – They should then register themselves using their date of birth, CAT ID, and Email id.
