KPSC KAS Eligibility Criteria 2022

The Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) set the eligibility criteria for various exams conducted in Kerala. Here we discuss eligibility for the posts that come under the KAS Exam 2022. KAS Age Limit 2022, Age Relaxation

The age limit for the KAS Exam as prescribed in the advertisement is 32 years for the General category candidate.

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 32 years (For Stream 2: Max age limit:40)

Age relaxation in the KAS Exams are given as per the following:

Kerala PSC has given certain conditions to claim the benefit of age relaxation or reservation as given below:

  • The Student must have a domicile in India.
  • A candidate claiming the caste / economic reservation must produce the category certificate during the document verification.
  • Aspirants eligible for the reservation/age relaxation in different categories for the KAS Exam shall be entitled to only one concession.

KPSC KAS Educational Qualification 2022

The educational qualifications required for the Kerala Administrative Service Exam 2022 is as follows:

  • If you apply for this Kerala Administrative Service exam, then you must have a Degree certificate or Equivalent from a recognized university.

Students must also make sure that they are fluent in the Malayalam language, both orally and written. Questions are asked in both Malayalam and English for the exam. But After you join the service, you must prove your Malayalam proficiency within 6 months by passing the test.

Number of Exam Attempts

  •  There is no certain limitation on the number of Exam attempts, and you can write up to the age limit.

Marital Status

  • The candidates who were married/unmarried are eligible for writing the exam.

Nationality

  • The Aspirant must be an Indian.

Reservations

  • All Kerala's Backward Classes ( OBC/SC/ST) shall be permitted per relevant Kerala Service Govt. Rules.
  • Aspirants belonging to economically weaker sections (EWS) are also allowed for the reservations. Those students should produce their relevant economic documents before the panel during the document verification.
