1. Ezhuthachan Puraskaram

It is the highest literary honor of the Kerala government given by the Kerala Sahitya Akademi.
Writer Paul Zacharia has been selected for the 28th Ezhuthachan Puraskaram.

2. Lilavati Award 2020

It is institutionalized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Theme- Women’s Empowerment.

3. 2020 Booker Prize

The 2020 Booker Prize was given by Scottish author Douglas Stuart.
The Booker Prize is the leading literary award in the English speaking world.
The Prize is awarded annually for a single book, translated into English and published in the UK or Ireland.

4. Indira Gandhi Prize for Peace

Noted broadcaster Sir David Attenborough to be presented with Indira Gandhi peace prize 2019.

5. Jnanpith Award

It is given to Malayalam ‘Mahakavi’ Akkitham.

6. CogX Award

It is given to the best-of-the-best in AI and emerging technologies across the world.
AI enabled MyGov Corona Helpdesk bagged two awards under categories

“Best Innovation for Covid-19 – Society” and
“People’s Choice Covid-19 Overall Winner”,at the recently held CogX 2020.

7. Ramon Magsaysay Award

It is Asia’s highest honour and is often regarded as the region’s equivalent of the Nobel Prize.
This year the award was presented to none.

8. Pulitzer Prize 2020

It was presented to three photojournalists (Yasin Dar, Mukhtar Khan, and Channi Anand) from Jammu & Kashmir.

9. Gandhi Peace Prize

This year the award was presented to no one.
In 2019, the award was given to David Attenborough.

Bollywood stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal were jointly awarded the best actor award for their roles in Andhadhun and Uri.
Vicky Kaushal said it was a great honour for him to receive the award.
Keerthy Suresh got the best actress award for her portrayal of yesteryear's star Savitri in Telugu film Mahanati.
Gujarati movie Hellaro was awarded for the best feature film.
Aditya Dhar was awarded the Best Director award for his debut Uri: The Surgical Strike. Andhadhun was awarded for Best Hindi film.
Akshay Kumar-starrer Padman was awarded for the best film on social issues.
