International Civil Aviation Day Theme

The ICAO Council establishes a special anniversary theme for International Civil Aviation Day every five years, coinciding with the ICAO anniversary- 2014/2019/2024/2029, etc. The council representative also selects a single theme for the four intervening years between the anniversary period.

The theme for the 75th Anniversary of Internation Civil Aviation Day held in 2019 was "75 Years of Connecting the World." The theme for World Civil Aviation Day 2020 was "Advancing Innovation for Global Aviation Development." The council has decided to keep this theme till 2023. History of Civil Aviation Day
