Sikkim TET Exam Pattern 2021: Paper 1 and Paper 2 Detailed Pattern

Sikkim Education Department, Sikkim has released the notification regarding the revised examination date for Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test -2020 for teaching aspirants. The revised date of examination Sikkim TET  will be 27th March 2021. In this article, we are sharing the detail of the Sikkim TET Exam pattern and detailed syllabus which is the first step to start the preparation plan. 

There will be two papers of Sikkim TET:

• Paper, I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.
• Paper-II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Note: A person who intents to teach for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

According to the latest notification, there is no change in the Sikkim TET exam pattern. Here are the details of the paper-I and paper-II exam pattern which includes a number of questions, marks allotted and the total time.

The Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test 2021 basically has 2 rounds in the selection process. They are: 

• Written Examination - Level I/Paper-I/ Primary Level (Class 1 to 5) and Level II/ Paper-II/Upper Primary level (Class 6 to 8). 
• Personal round of Interview

Only the candidates who clear the written examination shall qualify for the Interview round. Candidates who clear the personal interview round shall be recruited.

• Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test is the OMR-based test with a time limit of 2 hrs 30 Mins.
• Paper 1 & paper II are having a total of 150 Questions with 150 Marks.
• The question papers will be based on Multiple Choice Question types.
• For every correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded and no negative marking for the exam.
