Punjab TET Exam Pattern is a must to check for candidates preparing for PSTET exam. The exam pattern includes a detailed description of the pattern of the written exam. Punjab TET Exam Pattern 2022: Overview

Exam Pattern of Punjab TET2022 is notified by The Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) on their official website. Candidates must thoroughly check the exam pattern to prepare well for the Punjab TET Exam. The detailed PSTET exam pattern for Paper I and Paper II includes all details of the written exam and document verification. All the candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks are called for document verification. After document verification candidates will be issued a PSTET Certificate.

Punjab TET is a 150 marks exam that consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking in the PSTET exam. Punjab TET Paper I Exam Pattern

Punjab TET Paper 1 exam is for aspirants who wish to teach primary classes ( 1st - 5th). The PSTET Paper I has five sections. Each section has 30 questions with 30 marks. PSTET Paper II Exam Pattern

Aspirants interested to teach secondary classes from 6th to 8th must opt for Paper 2 PSTET Exam. Paper II of the PSTET exam has 4 sections. Candidates can attempt any one of the Mathematics and Science ( For maths and science teachers) or Social Science (for social studies/ social science teachers). Punjab TET Marking Scheme 2022

Candidates must know the PSTET Marking Scheme to score well in the PSTET Exam. There are two papers in the exam. Paper 1 is 150 marks, each section has 30 questions for 30 marks. On the other hand, in paper 2 the first three sections have 30 questions for 30 marks. Candidates get an option to choose Mathematics and Science or Social Science. This section has 60 questions for 60 marks. The Marking Scheme of the Punjab TET 2022 exam is as below:

PSTET Exam Pattern 2022 for written exam

The important detail of the Punjab TET Exam Pattern 2022 is listed below:

  1. The test will be conducted in an offline mode( pen and paper).
  2. The questions will be in MCQ form (multiple-choice questions) with four options.
  3. The candidates will get a +1 mark for each correct answer.
  4. There is no negative marking in the PSTET 2021 exam.
  5. The candidate has to score minimum marks to qualify for the exam.

The selection process is divided into two stages

  • Written Exam
  • Document Verification

The written exam will be conducted offline (pen & paper) and the candidates have to qualify for the PSTET exam by scoring minimum marks. Afterward, candidates will be called for document verification.

  • The Punjab TET Exam Pattern includes a detailed description of the written exam for the PSTET Exam. The exam pattern includes section-wise marks distribution that can facilitate easy exam preparation.

  • There are five sections in the PSTET Paper I exam. This includes Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, and Environmental Science. Each section has 30 questions with 30 marks each.

  • The Papers II of the PSTET exam has 4 sections only. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics and Science or Social Science. The first three have 30 questions of 30 marks each and the last one is a 60 marks paper with 60 questions.
