Major Highlights of RBI Grade B Prelims exam 2018:
- The exam conducted in second shift was on similar lines to the exam conducted in the first shift.
- The exam brought smiles to the face candidates as the exam was not tough which was expected for RBI Grade B Exam. Candidates managed to attempt a good number of questions.
- The overall level of the exam was Moderate.
- The pattern of English Language section was slightly changed. The level of the section was moderate.
- Quantitative Aptitude section was of easy to moderate level. The questions asked were slightly calculative but doable.
- Reasoning Ability section consisted of Moderate level questions. There were questions from the conventional topics. No new pattern question was asked.
- General Awareness section is a game changer in RBI Grade B prelims exam. Candidates managed to attempt a good number of questions in this section. The level of this section was also Moderate

- DI based on Missing Data Table: In this, data related to a school was given. Numbers and ratio of girls and boys were given.
- Caselet DI : This was based on 3 institutions A, B and C and their scholars who go to abroad.
Approximation :
- Proper knowledge of BODMAS rules will help you solve these questions easily.
- The level of the questions was Moderate.
Data Sufficiency :
- 4 questions were asked from miscellaneous topics of Quant section.
- Tricky questions were asked.

4 sets from puzzles and seating arrangement topic were asked, which are as following -
- Double Row Linear Seating Arrangement: Persons were facing North and South directions.
- Month based puzzle - 2 days of one month were given. The question was based on 10 persons, 5 months and 10 occupations.
- Age-Based Puzzle: In this, students were required to arrange the persons in terms of their age.
Syllogism
- Questions were direct and easily doable.
- Old pattern syllogism questions were asked.
