PHASE-I

• The invitation, with the job annexure, is sent to MNCs and organizations through email or post.
• They fill the annexure and send it back to the Training and Placement Office, IIT Roorkee.
• The details are circulated among students online.
• Suitable dates for the pre-placement talk (PPT) are decided. Students are also notified of the PPT date.
• The company visits the IIT Roorkee campus and conducts the PPT, and, if interested, conducts selections for summer internships.

PHASE-II

The Training and Placement Office ranks the various companies on the following parameters:

• Job profile, Salary offered, and growth prospects.
• The package offered by the company.
• Record of recruitment.
• Feedback from the students.

Resumes of the interested students are shared with the companies for shortlisting. This is later mailed to the Training and Placement Office before the campus selection date.

 PHASE-III

• Companies conduct the written technical or aptitude test, group discussion, and personal interview as a part of their selection procedure.
• The facility of video conferencing is available for students who are unable to visit the campus.
• The organization will furnish the final list of selected students, shared with the selected students by the placement cell.
