Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM) of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, has commenced its MBA admissions for 2022-24. Applicants who wish to take admission to IIT Bombay must check the eligibility criteria before applying.

Mentioned below are the IIT Bombay admission eligibility criteria 2022 for the MBA program: 

  • Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or a Master’s degree with at least 60% aggregate. The cut-off is 55% in case the applicants belong to the ST/SC/OBC/PWD category. 
  • Applicants in their final year of college or are expecting their results can also apply for IIT Bombay's MBA program. However, candidates must hold an aggregate of 60% (55% if the applicants belong to the ST/SC/OBC/PWD category) until their last exam. 
  • The bachelor’s degree earned by the applicant must get accompanied by a minimum of four years of education post completing HSC (10+2) or equivalent.
  • The candidates from CS, CA, CFA, FRM, or ICWA, with a first-class bachelor’s degree in any background, can also apply for the MBA admissions. They must secure 60% marks (55% if belonging to ST/SC/PWD category) in total (comprising all years/semesters).

IIT Bombay Admission Process 2022

SJMSOM of IIT Bombay released the MBA admission application form 2022 after the release of the result of CAT 2021. Mentioned below are the various steps included in the IIT Bombay MBA admission process 2022. 

  • Phase 1 - The candidates who wish to get admission to the MBA program must appear for the CAT to become eligible for the admission process 
  • Phase  2 - Only those applicants who meet the minimum cut-off set for the CAT exam are considered further for the admission process. Students shortlisted basis the selection criteria set by the institute are invited to appear for the Personal Interview
