Part – B (Language Test): Hindi/English/Urdu/Santali/Bangla/Mundari/Ho/Kharia/Kurukh/Kurmali/Khortha/Nagpuri/Panchpargania/Odia/Sanskrit. Exam will be conducted in any of these languages, as per the preference of the candidate.
Note: -
- The questions paper will be consist of multiple choice & objective type questions.
- Every question carries a total of 3 marks
- For every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted as per the board rules.
- Minimum 30% marks are required in Part - A, to be qualified for Part - B.

General Knowledge of Jharkhand | Questions will be asked from Major wildlife sanctuary, major rivers, national park, irrigation planning, tourism (famous forts, palaces, ancient notable and natural places, caves, mausoleum etc.) along with some major personalities of Madhya Pradesh (political, sportsmen, artist, administration, author, litterateur, social worker etc.) |
General Science | Questions are designed to test the candidate’s general science of the environment around him and its application to society, knowledge of current events and other matters in our day to day life. |

Physical Standard Test (PST)
Below are the Jharkhand Police detailed physical standard criteria for the post of excise constable. These criteria are different for different categories, candidates who fail to acquire the following criteria will not be eligible for the final selection.

Medical Examination
Candidates who clear the written examination & Physical Test examination successfully will be called for Medical Test Examination. In the medical test, examination candidates will be examined by the doctors appointed by the police department. And, candidates will only be selected if found medically fit.
