India is a developing country. This essentially means the Indian population is intrinsically composed of people belonging to society's various economic and socio-cultural strata. As a result, the central government keeps implementing various government schemes for the cross-section of society for the individual and community-wide benefits of society. Not just the central government, the state government also implements various government schemes for the respective states, and sometimes these schemes come across as joint ventures between the state and the centre.

This section specifically deals with all the famous schemes implemented by the central government of India in the past few years.

List Of Important Government Schemes In 2022

The government schemes are generally updated every year during the annual budget presentation by the Indian finance minister. This year in the Union Budget 2022-23, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the allocation of Rs 1.04 lakh crore to five vital central government schemes. These are -

  • The Pradhan Mantri Kisaan Samman Nidhi
