HP TET 2016 Eligibility Criteria
1. Junior Basic Training (JBT) Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized Board/University and should possess two Years two years Diploma in Elementary Education.
2. TGT (Arts) Eligibility Criteria
B.A./B.Com. With at least 50% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
3. TGT (None Medical) Eligibility Criteria
B.Sc. (NM) with at least 50% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
4. TGT (Medical) Eligibility Criteria
B.Sc. (Medical) with at least 50% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
HP TET SCHEDULE OF EXAMINATION

HP TET 2016 Exam Pattern
All questions in HPTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. Each carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking. There will be two level paper of HPTET.
(i) Level I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
(ii) Level II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to X.

Section-I (Q. 1- 30) - Child Development and Pedagogy, teaching learning processes.
Section-II (Q. 31-60) -English literature & grammar
Section-III (Q.61-90)- Hindi literature & grammar
Section-IV (Q.91-120)- Mathematics
Section-V (Q.121-150)- Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, and General awareness & current affairs including Himachal Pradesh.
Paper II (for Classes VI to X Exam Pattern
Section-I Q. 1-30 Child psychology and development, pedagogy, teaching learning processes.
Section-II Q. 31-60 General Awareness including Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs & Environmental Studies.
A. Section-III and IV for TGT(Arts)
Section-III Q. 61-90 English Literature & Grammar.
Section-IV Q.91-150 Social Studies
B. Section-III and IV for TGT(NM)
