Assam Special TET Eligibility Criteria 2021

The eligibility criteria of a candidate to appear in special TET are as follows:
1. Candidate must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of Assam.
2. Candidates who had worked/working presently under SSA, Assam and who were issued Unique ID from the districts and having minimum academic & professional qualification as follows:

Educational Qualification for Lower Primary Level (Class 1 to 5)

• Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). or
• Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). or
• Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education). or
• Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). or
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) obtained from any recognized institution, provided the person if so appointed as the teacher will have to mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by NCTE within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher.

Assam Special TET Application Fees

To complete the online application process, the candidates have to pay a specific amount as the application fee. Details about it are given below-

How to Apply Online for Assam Special TET 2021 Exam

• Apply Online  through the link provided above or else you can register yourself online through visiting the official website https://ssa.assam.gov.in/
• Click on the Online application for Special TET you will be redirected to another page.
• Click on Apply Online link and then click on "Register Yourself" link.
• Once registered, complete the application form by entering all the necessary details by logging-in through Unique ID and Password.
• Upload the documents (Passport size coloured photograph, signature, professional qualification mark sheet and signature).
• The candidates have to pay the fee through online banking/credit card/debit card etc.
• After final submission candidates are required to print the completed online application form.

Assam Special TET 2021 Exam Pattern

• The total 150 Multiple Choice Questions will be asked in Assam Special TET and each question will carry 1 mark.
• The time duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Additional 20 minutes’ time (per hour) will be there for visually impaired candidates.
• Candidate needs to choose any one language from these - Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, Manipuri, Garo, Karbi, Nepali, Hmar.
• There will be no negative marking.
• The medium of question paper will be in Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, English.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for Special TET 2021

A candidate is required to score at least 60% (90 marks out of 150) to qualify the Teacher Eligibility TET. However, there will be a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST?OBC/MOBC/PwD candidates. Thus, for these candidates qualifying score will be 55% (82 out of 150).
