English Language for TET Exams

English is a scoring subject and is covered in almost every TET exam. English subject as a Language 1 or Language 2 contains overall 30 marks in CTET, UPTET, REET, and other STET papers each which includes Comprehension – 15 Questions, Pedagogy of Language Development – 15 Questions. The scores can be obtained if one has a basic knowledge of the topics being asked in the TET Exams.
Weightage of English in TET Exams
Most of the candidates are not scoring well in the Language section due to difficulty in the grammar part as well as the pedagogy topic. Under such circumstances, students select a few topics for preparation. It is important to know the examination-wise weightage of the English Subject. Check the given below table:
