The Kerala Public Service Commission released the new Kerala PSC LGS Exam Pattern on the official Kerala PSC website keralapsc.gov.in. All the aspirants who are interested in the examination and are going to apply online for the Kerala state government services must verify the latest exam pattern of the Kerala PSC LGS exam to begin their preparation. The Kerala Public Service Commission examines various Lower Grade Servants posts. The Kerala PSC LGS exam is one of the most important exams among job aspirants.
From 2021 onwards, The Kerala PSC LGS exam will be conducted in two stages; Preliminary exam and Mains exam. Both the exams are objective-type OMR-based tests. The time allotted for the examination is 1 hour 15 minutes ( 75 Minutes). The maximum mark of the Kerala PSC LGS exam is 100. Each question of the examination carries one mark, and there is a negative marking of 1/3 for every wrong answer.

Kerala PSC LGS Exam Pattern 2021 - Selection Criteria
From the year 2021, the Kerala PSC LGS exam has two stages of the selection process. The Kerala PSC LGS Selection procedure starts with the online application through the official website. After successful submission of the Kerala PSC LGS online application, aspirants will be invited for the preliminary exam. Candidates who passed the preliminary exam will be called for the LGS Mains exam. The various steps of the Kerala PSC LGS selection process involve:
- Stage I: Prelims Exam
- Stage II: Mains Exam
The final selection of the meritorious candidates will be made based on the marks secured on the Mains exam. The marks of the prelims exam are not taken for making the final list. It is only treated as a screening test.
