The Kerala PSC will announce the Kerala Administrative Service Exam Pattern 2022 soon on the official Kerala PSC website keralapsc.gov.in. All the candidates who are interested in the exam must apply for it through online mode. All the candidates must verify the exam pattern of the Kerala Administrative Service exam to start their preparation. The Kerala Public Service Commission recruits various second-class gazetted rank officers through this exam. The Kerala Administrative Service exam is one of the prestigious exams among job aspirants.
From 2021 onwards, The Kerala Administrative Service exam will be conducted in three stages; Prelims exam, Mains Exam, and Personality test. Prelims exam is an objective-type OMR-based exam. The duration for the prelims exam is 3 hours ( 180 Minutes). Each question in the prelims exam carries one mark, and there is a negative marking of 1/3 for every wrong answer. The mains exam of Kerala Administrative Service Exam is of the descriptive type. There are three papers included in the KAS Mains Exam.

Kerala Administrative Service Exam Pattern 2021 - Selection Criteria
From the year 2021, the Kerala Administrative Service exam has three stages of the selection process. The Kerala Administrative Service Selection criteria begin with the online application through the official website. After successful submission of the Kerala Administrative Service online application, candidates will be invited for the prelims exam. Candidates who passed the prelims exam are qualified for writing the Kerala Administrative Service Mains exam. Then it was followed by the personality test; the various steps of the Kerala Administrative Service selection process involve:
- Stage I: Prelims Exam
- Stage II: Mains Exam
- Stage III: Personality Test
The final list of the qualified candidates will be made based on the score secured on the Mains exam and Personality. The marks of the prelims exam are not considered for the final rank list. It is only treated as an eligibility test.
