  • Novak Djokovic (Serbia) wins men’s 2021 French Open title after beating Stefanos Tsitsipas by 6–7(6–8), 2–6, 6–3, 6–2, 6–4.
  • Barbora Krejcikova(Czech Republic) wins women’s singles French Open 2021 by defeating Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6–1, 2–6, 6–4.
  • It was the 125th edition of the French Open.
  • The winner amount:$1.7 million.
  • The first runner-up: $907,000.

Novak Djokovic Wins his Second French Open title

  • Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic won French Open 2021, defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece) in the final.
  • Currently ranked as world No. 1 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
  • He has been No. 1 for a record total of 325 weeks.
  • It was his 2nd French Open men’s singles title (earlier in 2016) and 19th Grand Slam title.
  • With the win, Djokovic became the first and only player to win every Major.
  • Djokovic also became the third player after Roy Emerson and Rod Laver to win the Australian Open and French Open in the same year on multiple occasions, and the first within the Open Er.

Barbora Krejcikova won the Women's title for French Open 2021

  • Barbora Krejcikova (Czech Republic) won her first Grand Slam singles title, defeating Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (Russia) in the final, 6-1 2-6 6-4.
