Punjab CM Name 2022
Currently, the head of Punjab is Bhagwant Mann of the Aam Aadmi Party. He succeeded Charanjit Singh Channi, who was the Chief Minister of Punjab from 2021 to 2022. He won the Punjab elections in 2022 to become the Punjab new CM.
The first Chief Minister of Punjab was Gopi Chand Bhargava, appointed by the then-ruling party, the Indian National Congress. He held office from 1947 to 1951, only to be briefly succeeded by Bhim Sen Sachar for a period of 188 days.
