Jharkhand MLA List includes all the elected members of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. In 2019, the Jharkhand Assembly elections took place in which 81 representatives were elected as MLAs for various constituencies. The political party with the most number of MLAs in Jharkhand is the JMM, with 29 seats in total.

Jharkhand is a state located in eastern India. It has a unicameral legislature, the election for which are conducted every five years. In this article, we have shared the list of MLAs in Jharkhand, along with their names, parties, and respective constituencies.

Jharkhand MLA

The MLAs in Jharkhand are elected periodically through a democratic process. Candidates representing separate constituencies contest the election in which the first-past-the-post system of voting is used. The MLAs look after the administration and legislation of their respective constituencies. Jharkhand MLAs serve for a period of five years in the Legislative Assembly, except for the following cases:

  • In case of the death of the MLA.
  • In case the Jharkhand MLA resigns.
  • In case the MLA is disqualified by other members.

The Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha was first constituted in the year 2000. Currently, the fifth Assembly is in place.
