XAT Question Paper Pattern
It is essential to understand the XAT exam paper pattern. The paper will consist of two time-bound parts. XAT Exam Pattern 2023 is given below for reference:

Marking Scheme
- For every correct answer the candidate will be awarded +1 marks.
- For every incorrect answer from Part-1, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
- For every unattempted question after 8 unattempted questions, a 0.10 mark will be deducted
- There is no negative marking for the General Knowledge section.
- .The essay of the candidate shall be evaluated after the candidate is shortlisted for the GD- PI process at XLRI.
- PWD candidates will get 20 minutes extra per hour.
- The candidate can only move to Part-2 and Part 3 of the examination once he/she has completed 175 minutes in Part-1 of the examination
- PWD candidates can submit their answers at any point of time between 175 minutes and 240 minutes for Part-1 and between 30 to 40 minutes for Part-3. So, a PWD candidate may leave the lab between 210 minutes and 280 minutes depending upon the completion time of the test.
