Highlights of XAT 2022

• The XAT 2022 was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
• The overall difficulty of the XAT 2022 exam was Moderate.
• QA & DI section was a bit easier and the DM section was slightly more difficult than Verbal.
• The essay section was reintroduced in XAT 2022 in Part-2 of the paper after 2018.
• Essay section will be evaluated after the candidates are shortlisted for the interview.

XAT Result Date 2022

• XAT 2022 Response Sheet was released on 3rd January 2022 whereas the XAT 2022 Answer Key was released on 5th January 2022.
• XAT 2022 Results have been announced today on 17th January 2022.

How to check XAT 2022 Results?

• Visit the official website of XAT
• Select the “XAT Score Card” button or click here
• Enter your XAT ID and Date of Birth
• Now, you can view your scorecard
• Click on the candidate scorecard and download it
• You can also get a hardcopy of it
• XAT scorecards will be valid till 31st December 2022.

How to Calculate XAT 2022 Score

• Each candidate’s XAT 2022 score is calculated based on raw scores obtained in each section.
• General Knowledge percentage and percentile will be calculated independently and will not be included in the total percentage or percentile.
• For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted and for each correct answer, 1 mark is awarded.
• Negative marks are awarded for every unattempted question after 8 unattempted questions: - 0.10 mark.
• The individual marks obtained in the sections are listed and then, all of them are added to get a raw score of the candidate.
• The candidates are then ranked according to total marks obtained in XAT 2022 exam.

What after XAT 2022 Score

• After the XAT 2022 results are announced, XLRI will announce the cut-off/percentile for admission to its Business Management (BM)/PGDM and Human Resource Management (HRM) courses.
• The candidates who will have the required percentile, will be asked to fill up a form on the institute's official website indicating their interest in Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round.
• Shortlisted candidates will be notified about the GD/PI schedule through an e-mail.
• Final selection of the candidates will be based on the candidate’s overall performance in XAT 2022, academic profile & GD/PI
