Difference between Extensive Farming and Intensive Farming
The difference between extensive farming and intensive farming is that in intensive farming, agricultural activities are mechanized and intensified to increase production. High-cost machinery, equipment, and inputs like pesticides, fertilizers, etc. are invested to ensure that the produce is of high quality and quantity.
On the other hand, extensive farming methods use limited resources on a large-scale farm. Often, traditional farming techniques are practiced on such farms, and the final produce is also less when compared to the size and potential of the farm.
