(a) Sum is -7

Consider a pair of integers -8 and 1

= - 8 + 1

= -7

(b) Difference is -10

Consider a pair of integers - 12 and -2

= - 12 - (-2)

= -10

(c) Sum is 0

Consider a pair of integers 3 and -3

= 3 + (- 3)

= 0

Therefore, the pair of integers whose sum is -7 are -8 and 1; the difference is -10 are -12, and -2 and sum is 0 are 3 and -3.

Summary:

Write down a pair of integers whose:

(a) sum is -7

(b) difference is - 10

(c) sum is 0

The pair of integers whose sum is -7 are -8 and 1; the difference is -10 are -12, and -2 and sum is 0 are 3 and -3.
