Defence Aspirants,

Air Force Common Admission Test commonly known as AFCAT is conducted twice every year for recruitment of commissioned officers in Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) branches, Flying Branch & Permanent Commission. So the next AFCAT Exam is expected to be scheduled in February-March 2022.

The Selection process for AFCAT starts with the AFCAT written exam which is conducted in Online Mode and followed by AFSB Interview.

This written exam comprises Verbal ability, Numerical Ability, General Awareness & Reasoning and Military aptitude.

This written exam is attempted by close to 2 Lakh applicants and roughly 10,000 of these qualify for AFSB which is further drilled down to complete the required number of vacancies.
