Abhigyan Shakuntalam is a classical Sanskrit play of seven acts, which narrates the well-known love story of the kings Dushyant and Shakuntala. One of the most brilliant poets and dramatists in the sky of Sanskrit literature is the great poet Kalidasa. He is the best representative of India not only in Sanskrit literature but also in world literature.
