Who was the First Woman Judge of the Supreme Court of India?

The first woman Judge of the Supreme Court of India was M. Fathima Beevi appointed on October 6, 1989, and she held the position till April 29, 1992. She became the first female judge to be part of the Supreme Court of India, and also the first Muslim woman appointed to national justice. The first woman Judge of the Delhi High Court was Justice Leelia Seth sahe was also appointed as the Cheif Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court on August 5, 1991.
