Who is called as Lakh Baksh?
During the Delhi Sultanate, Lakh Baksh became a common term to address anybody from the higher ranks of the society who generously donated their wealth. Wealth donation was not limited to money and also included property. The famous lakh Baksh of the Delhi Sultanate, Qutb ud-Din Aibak bestowed a lot of compassion upon poor and needy people.
